This perspective allows us to relate to our human experience of the cosmos what we can see, what we can feel, what we receive here in our bodies on the Earth, what we live.įrom this Earth-centred perspective, a system was created as a reference point to map the movement of celestial bodies upon the ecliptic. Before space expeditions and probes moving far out into the cosmos, we had one perspective of the stars – the view from our two eyes here on Earth.Īs opposed to current knowledge of the Sun as the centre of our Solar System, from this geocentric view the Earth, and therefore we, are at the centre of it all. ![]() ![]() ![]() A time when astrology and astronomy were one, our ancestors revelled in observing the night sky and finding correlating meaning within cosmic movement. ![]()
